We would like to invite you to participate in our fund-raising efforts for a truly worthwhile organization, Claiborne Charity, Inc. The Tenth Annual Claiborne Charity Classic Golf Tournament and Associated Events will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 27 - 29, 2008. We would like to take this opportunity to ask you to once again be a sponsor or to join us as a new sponsor for this year's fund-raiser.

In 2007 Claiborne Charity increased its fundraising over the previous year as it has done each year since its inception in 1999. We are the largest charitable organization in Claiborne Parish. At the time of this printing Claiborne Charity’s total donations to people in need exceed $205,000.00. If you have any doubts about the importance of Claiborne Charity’s efforts, just talk to anyone whom we have helped. They will quickly tell you how much the assistance meant to them! Claiborne Charity also donates each year to the David Wade Correctional Center Toy Project which is a very worthwhile endeavor. David Wade Correctional Center staff and inmates provide invaluable assistance to Claiborne Charity each year during the fund-raiser.

Don’t forget that we are a non-profit tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization! Every penny that is donated to us can be used as a tax deduction by any business or individual who itemizes.

Enclosed please find a schedule of sponsor levels, a schedule of all events, a tournament registration form for your sponsor team or teams, and a sponsor’s response form. Everyone who chooses to participate in a sponsorship role will receive a comprehensive sponsor’s packet several weeks prior to the tournament and other events. In order for you to receive the maximum benefit of your sponsorship of the Claiborne Charity Classic (sponsorship signs and advertising), we would appreciate your reply indicating your intent to sponsor by APRIL 7, 2008. Please enclose your sponsor response form, your tournament registration form if you have a team or teams, and your check unless you prefer us to bill you later.
